Grilled Pork Chops & Green Beans. Heart Healthy



Center Cut Pork Chops. If there is a lot of fat on the edges be sure to cut that off before cooking.

Spices of choice for seasoning

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Fresh Green Beans

2 Cloves Garlic – chopped

1/2 Red Onion – Chopped

Fresh Ground Pepper


Directions For Green Beans

Snap ends off Green Beans if desired. 

In a bowl place Green Beans, Chopped Garlic, Red Onion and 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Mix together. 

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.

On a baking sheet, line with foil and place green beans and onions on sheet.

Place in oven and cook for 20 minutes turning once. 


Directions for grilling Pork Chops

Pre Heat Grill on medium high heat

Dredge pork chops in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and sprinkle with desired seasonings on both sides pressing seasonings into the chops.

Turn heat down on grill, place chops on grill and cook until you see the meat beginning to turn opaque. 

Flip chops over and cook as long on that side and you did on the first side.

When chops are done place them on a plate and cover with tinfoil for about 5 minutes so the juices stay locked inside and you have juicy chops.

Serve with Green beans and a side salad.
