Hi Pretties!
I have another video review for you today on,
Laura Gellers Under Makeup Primer called Spackle.
Enjoy 🙂Â
Hello Pretties!
Today’s Review is on : Laura Geller’s Spackle Tinted Under Make-Up Primer in Ethereal.
Yep, Another looooooong name.. LOL.
I have to be honest when I tell you that I LOVE this product! Now, let me explain why. Firstly, I have tried many primers. Some high end, some drug store but I always go back to this one. As far as I am aware it is silicone based. It feels exquisite! when you apply it. Its VERY cooling to the skin, the texture feels like a soft mousse, it’s super creamy. Laura makes two different kinds that I am aware of. This one and a clear one. I had been using the clear one for more than a year and then I received a sample of the Ethereal color. When I say color I don’t mean it has a color like a foundation. It’s still clear but it leaves this opulent glow on the skin which you don’t get with the clear one. It evens out my skins texture before I apply my foundation etc. Its SUPER hydrating. It also seems, to me anyway, that it gives my foundation a very minute glow sort of like ‘a lit from within’ but extremely subtle.
It is very wet so when I use this, I apply moisturizer and let it dry. I then apply this, it evens my skin texture and tone and I let it dry. It claims to also help your makeup last longer and it actually does do just that. I know this because I have worn makeup with and without this product just to see if the claim was true. When I finally removed my makeup at night, on the days I did not use this, I had hardly any makeup come off on my wipes but on the days I did use his product I had a lot of makeup come off. I don’t know about you but I don’t like the idea of my foundation, bronzer, blush etc melting into my skin. Makeup is supposed to sit on top .
It is a bit pricey. $30.00 US for 2 oz. but if you catch it on Hautelook which her products seem to be on there a lot you can get a super good deal.
Conclusion : I love this product, won’t use anything else.
Until next time 🙂
